Hag Al Laila at Royal American School was a delightful and joyous celebration that brought the entire school community together. For those unfamiliar, Hag Al Laila, which means "For This Night," is a beloved children's holiday in the UAE and other Gulf countries, celebrated on the 15th night of Sha'ban, the Islamic month before Ramadan. The day was filled with a variety of enjoyable activities, including traditional games, cultural performances, and delicious local treats. Students and teachers alike dressed in vibrant traditional attire, adding to the festive atmosphere. A highlight of the day was the storytelling session, where the rich history and customs of Hag Al Laila were shared with everyone, It's a time for children to dress up in colorful clothes and sing songs, the event at Royal American School not only honored these traditions but also created lasting memories for all who participated.
